Instagram announced yesterday that professional accounts will be able to schedule posts including Reels and Carousels up to 75 days in advance directly from the Instagram mobile app. Previously you had to use a third-party tool or the Meta Business Suite.
Our account still didn’t have this option yet so I can’t share the process from experience, but the post above makes it seem like it will be very simple. You’ll be able to schedule your post by:
- Tapping ‘Advanced Settings’ before sharing the post
- Tapping ‘Schedule this post’
- Selecting the time and date you want it to go live
- Tapping ‘Schedule’ in the post composer
You will have to have a professional or business account. Learn how to switch your profile if it’s not already set up that way.
And it looks like right now, it will only be available in the app so perfect if you are on the go!
